Low Carb Steamed Green Beans with Salmon

I know there’s at least two ingredients, in this recipe that are liver cleansing, and they are lemon juice, and minced garlic.

Ingredients:

3 handfuls of green beans

1 salmon fillet

2 tablespoons of water

2 tablespoons of minced garlic

The juice of one lemon.

Method:

  1. Steam the green beans.
  2. Use a frying pan to cook the salmon fillet and add two tablespoons of water so that the salmon doesn’t stick to the frying pan. Next add the steamed green beans to the frying pan.
  3. Then mix the minced garlic as well as the lemon juice together in a small bowl, and pour the mixture, over the green beans and the almost cooked salmon.
  4. When the meal is cooked transfer onto a plate.

Eat It to Beat It

This audiobook was narrated by David Zinczenko who is also the author and his talk about nutrition and how many calories we actually consume when we eat out is mind boggling!

He also gave some healthy alternatives as well.

Like when choosing a breakfast cereal rolled oats is the healthiest breakfast, and if we want to eat yoghurt or ice cream then it is better that we add the fruit ourselves.

David also tells us that eating a bit of dark chocolate can help reduce the risk of having a stroke and being insulin resistant. Then other things that he discusses is that having red meat occasionally reduces depression and that when we choose to eat veggies or if we decide to eat a vegetarian meal or are vegetarian, we lower the risk of getting diabetes.
