Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

This audiobook is by Rick Riordan and it is also published as a book as well and has been made into a movie. The story is about a teenage boy named Percy Jackson who has ADHD and dyslexia who has never met his, Father.

Though in the story he finds out he is a half-blood and at first he has trouble believing that his Father is a god named, Posiedon.

Then as Percy is attracting too much attention from the monsters, he does end up in a place called Camp Half-Blood where he finds other people who are also, half-bloods.

In the story Percy finds himself being sent on a quest with Grover and Annabeth where Percy finds out that his uncle Hades is holding his, Mother hostage. So, he, Grover, and Annabeth go to the underworld to rescue her.

However, the situation is more serious than Percy had originally thought.

Finding The Voice

I went to see Finding the Voice which was a documentary on John Farnham’s career in music with my Mum and sister Liss and all three of us enjoyed watching it.

As I thought it was nice to be able to look back on his career, and I’ve liked listening to songs that were sung by John Farnham for so long.

Some of his older songs that he has sung and that I like are called:

Don’t You Know It’s Magic, One, Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, Comic Conversation, and Playing to Win.

I also like You’re the Voice, Pressure Down, Age of Reason, When the War is Over, Two Strong Hearts, and more.

It’s also John Farnham’s 74th birthday today too, so Happy Birthday John.
