This audiobook was very interesting despite having some romance in it. As it was about a young adult named Violet Thorndale who was the youngest of General Thorndale’s three children.

Violet wanted to be a scribe like her, Father.

As she received an early education from him. Unfortunately, her, Father died sometime after Violet’s brother was killed during a battle.

Violet’s brother happened to be General Thorndale’s favorite child. General Thorndale also knew that Violet (her youngest child) wanted to follow in her, Father’s footsteps and become a scribe.

Though her, Mother had other ideas and the story was written by Rebecca Yarros.

The Fourth Wing is the first book that I read that Rebecca Yarros wrote and it is a story about a war that has been going on for many years. It is also a story about dragons and dragon riders who have to be chosen by a dragon who chooses to participate and then the dragon riders have to continue on with their training with the dragon that they had bonded with so that they can eventually fight in this war and the story is mostly about a woman who is training as a cadet and her name is Violet Thorndale.
