Molly Moon’s Great Book of Hypnotism

This audiobook is by Georgia Byng and Molly Moon is an orphan and her best friend is a boy named Rocky and she is unpopular with the other kids. Molly also gets in trouble a lot as the lady who runs the orphanage is nasty to children. Though this lady has a black pug named Petula and when Molly learns how to hypnotize people from a book:

Molly takes pity on Petula and stops her, from eating chocolate biscuits like Tim Tams by hypnotizing her. As this black pug thinks she doesn’t like Tim Tams anymore (chocolate isn’t good for dogs to eat anyway). Molly also enters a talent quest competition, and she tells her audience that she can read their minds when really, she is hypnotizing them. She ends up winning the competition as everyone thinks her act was, great.

Then with her winnings she walks into a shop and buys a pendulant, and then she goes overseas to New York (taking Petula with her).

However, while she and Petula are in America things start going wrong for Molly when Petula is stolen but Molly’s friend Rocky turns up.

Charlotte’s Web

This audiobook was written and narrated by E B White and Charlotte was the name of the spider that succeeded in saving Wilbur’s life. He also must’ve been a very likeable pig. As Temperton the rat agreed to help out by finding words that would describe Wilbur. However, just after finding out that his life has been saved Wilbur finds out: that his friend Charlotte won’t be returning to the barn with him.

Wilbur then made a decision.

The Garden of Lost Secrets

Cara is sent away by her Mum to live with her aunt for a while and this aunt is very strict as she tells Cara what she can’t do though she was to make herself useful. This aunt has also insisted that Cara calls her Mrs Gilbert and Cara worries about how far behind she will be when she returns to school.

Although Cara gets to know Will and Robert and she has confided in Will about a letter that she has found that is unopened and it is about her brother.

Will tries to advise Cara to open the letter and read it but she is worried that if Mrs Gilbert finds out that she has the letter that her aunt will be angry, at her. Cara also breaks quite a few of Mrs Gilbert’s rules and no doubt that is another thing that she is afraid that her aunt will discover that she has done.
