A River Not Yet Tamed

This audiobook is by Nancy Cato, and the story is about a teenaged girl who is sent to live with her aunt and uncle in Australia and her name, is Philadelphia Gordon.

Though she likes being called Delphi, her aunt also found out from Delphi’s father that before Delphi got to Australia, she was marooned somewhere with a man named Tom.

As her aunt questions her about it and Tom appears later in the story, as he brought a steamboat, that he had decided to rename, Philadelphia.

This is because Philadelphia had given him fifty pounds so that Tom could finish paying off the boat he had brought.

Protein Linked to Fluid Retention

I have been reading books on my kindle lately and discovered that if people don’t have enough protein it can cause fluid retention.

Though I noticed that this book didn’t let on about what type of protein this is but from what I already know about nutrition I would say it is vegetable protein. As various fruits and veggies have the ability to heal the skin.

People also need to be made aware that there are two types of protein and that it is also more, common, that people don’t eat enough veggies than meat.

However, most people would, be, aware that there is protein in meat and may not be aware that protein is also in vegetables. So, these people may mistakenly think that they need to increase their meat consumption, when it’s their vegetable consumption that they need to increase, and they also need to be told this.
