This audiobook is by Jennifer Donnelly and at the beginning two sisters who are called Love and Hate play a game of chess.

Also, they both talk tactics as they play their game. As they decide to set something up that has something to do with the Beast and a young woman named Belle.

Then to set things in motion the sister called Hate arranges for a book to be left somewhere in the library for Belle to find.

Hate also doesn’t believe that the beast will fall in love in time, and this story seems slow at the beginning, but then towards the end the pace speeds up.

I enjoyed listening to Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book by Jennifer Donnelly which like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was another story about an enchanted book but the storylines were quite different.
